‘That’s Entertainment’

The life and songs of Jack Buchanan

A cabaret presentation about the debonair British star Jack Buchanan, featuring the songs he made famous. Devised and performed by Michael Chance with George Hall at the piano.

Michael Chance was born on the day that Buchanan died. Michael has been fascinated by this elegant man since this discovery and was inspired to put together this show which takes us gently through Jack Buchanan’s story; his life, his loves. Michael recreates many of those well-loved songs which include And Her Mother Came Too, They Didn’t Believe Me, Goodnight Vienna and of course his theme song That’s Entertainment.

Songs by the Gershwins, Cole Porter, Arthur Schwartz, Jerome Kern and others.
