Bar
Pub
"You
left college a decade or more ago and want to relive those boho grungey
days without feeling like a Viagara/HRT junkie at a weenie-bopper rave?
Drop everything, don threadbare jeans, and head for this fabulous ultra
relaxed pub. Local artists drink here and decorate the large interior
with work."
Time Out
Situated on the borders of Shoreditch, Hackney and Islington
The Rosemary Branch provides a stimulating yet relaxing atmosphere in
which to drink a variety of real ales supplied by Fullers, Czech lagers,
quality wines or whatever takes your fancy.
Informal parties or gatherings often take place downstairs in the main
bar, and for larger or more exclusive functions there is a smaller bar
upstairs which is available whenever the adjacent theatre is not in use.
The theatre and the function room are also available during the day at
reasonable rates for film or photo shoots, meetings or rehearsals. You
may find the main bar strangely familiar as both series of "Happiness"
for the BBC, starring Paul Whitehouse were shot there.
