Spare Parts Theatre Company presents two plays in rep
Better and Afterwards
Written and directed by Glenn Mortimer

Written for National Transplant Week 2006 and performed here at
The Rosemary Branch, Better is a frank and honest
story about life and love on the transplant list - from someone
who’s been there. It proves you can find hope (and have a laugh)
when life revolves around waiting for the phone to ring so everything
will be better.
Afterwards, continues the funny and touching story
of Abi & Pete one year on - what do you do when all that you’ve
wished for comes true?
“This is one of those fringe shows in which every aspect of the
production has been lovingly perfected; the writing is full of little
gems, the set is breathtakingly realistic, the original music should
be on sale in the foyer afterwards and the acting is world-class…
it is accomplished and charming enough to withstand the commercial
rigours of London theatres and it deserves a much wider exposure
and a longer run.”
